ABOUT

"Honest Failure Leads to Honest Success"

John Eastland

Sole proprietor and personal trainer of Eastland Family Fitness.

My name is John Eastland and I am a NASM certified personal trainer and the owner of Eastland Family Fitness(EFF). I began training clients in 2016 coming from a nearly 20 year medical background in respiratory, pulmonary, sleep medicine, and several other aspects of medical care.

I bring a very unique understanding and skill set to the world of fitness, working out, mental health and nutrition. I often refer to my own life as several decades of painful “research” that now allows me to work with clients in all stages of fitness and most varieties of injuries, compensations, imbalances and other health restrictions. My “research” includes hard fought and victorious battles with drug and alcohol addiction,  five heart surgeries, congestive heart failure, a five times broken back, two neck fractures, five shoulder reconstructions, a complete right elbow reconstruction, full abdominal wall repair, a broken pelvis, knee surgery, and a wide assortment of other injuries. I feel it’s relevant to share this information with potential and current clients to allow them to understand I have unparalleled empathy and understanding of what it takes to safely work through and past injuries to attain the healthy lifestyle you’re seeking.

Thank you for taking a few moments of your time to learn a little bit about me and the approach I will take towards helping you meet your fitness and wellness goals. Lastly, I would add that there is room for everyone in a gym, fitness facility, yoga studio or anywhere else you seek a change.

"John is seriously the best! I cannot say enough good things about him. I felt very comfortable with him right from the start, he’s so supportive and motivating. I can honestly say that he‘a become a great friend as well as a coach! No matter your fitness level or goals, John will be able to guide you on your fitness journey, and you’ll likely have many good laughs in the gym with him while you’re at it!"
